Josh and I have just arrived in Auckland for a whirlwind 4 week work/vacation trip in the Antipodes. The jetlag isn't as bad as it could have been considering the 14hr flight.Our hotel room in Auckland overlooks the ferry for the island of Tiritiri Matangi, a predator-free sanctuary and birdwatcher's paradise (you can see the Tiri ferry on the far right).
Touchdown: 6:10am. Cleared customs: 7:00. Checked into hotel: 7:30. Checkin for the boat to Tiri is at 8:30...
